Tarab Akhtar

Graduate Student

Tarab Akhtar is from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Delhi and earned her master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar. In September 2025, she joined the Tang Lab, where she works on DNA damage and repair. Outside of research, she enjoys playing cricket and loves cooking, finding joy in both teamwork and creativity inside and outside the lab.
