Sanjida Tanjid

Graduate Student

Sanjida Tanjid is from Dhaka, Bangladesh. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She joined the Tang lab in October 2025, working on DNA damage and repair. Beyond research, Sanjida finds inspiration in creativity and movement. She loves sketching portraits, swimming, watching soccer, and traveling to new places. Whether she’s working in the lab, capturing a face on paper, or exploring a new landscape, she sees each experience as a way to embrace curiosity.
