Jiawen Xu is from Xi’an, China, a city with a long history. He came to the United States to study in 2017 and received a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Pennsylvania State University in 2022. He then went to Northeastern University in Boston to pursue a master’s degree in biotechnology. In January 2024, he entered the industry through an internship in the last semester. During his more than one year of industrial experience, his main departments were DMPK and bioanalysis, and he enjoyed exploring and using different mass spectrometers. He will start his PhD in analytical chemistry in September. In his spare time, he likes to play basketball and video games. He recently adopted a cute kitten named Clayton.
